Rachel Werner is the founder of The Little Book Project WI as well as a teaching artist for Hugo House, Lighthouse Writer’ Workshop and The Loft Literary Center. In 2021, she was awarded an Excellence in Teaching Fellowship from The Loft and the Madeline Island School for the Arts. She regularly contributes content to The Spruce Eats, Mother Untitled and Fabulous Media Group—and a selection of her poetry is in the anthology “Hope Is The Thing: Wisconsinites On Hope and Resilience in the Time of Covid-19” (The Wisconsin Historical Society, 2021). Rachel's debut cookbook “Macro Cooking Made Simple” (Chartwell Books) will be released in April and her next kidlit book with Capstone (“Moving and Grooving to Fillmore’s Beat”) in Fall 2023.
